05

Different, Highly Effective, Purpose-Made Orthotics

If inefficient foot and lower limb biomechanics are the main cause of your Plantar Fasciitis or other heel pain, we feel our ARC (Advanced Rearfoot Control) Orthotics will more effectively reduce the strain on your Fascia/Tendon than standard arch-based custom orthotics (which you may have had before). Based on principles used in structural engineering, we feel they correct poor foot function more efficiently, thereby reducing the strain on the Fascia/Tendon more effectively.  For more information on these incredible alignment correcting inserts, go to the “Our Treatment” page

06

Our Focus Is Solely On Heel Pain

Being a clinic specialising in the pathologies that cause heel pain means that we are dedicated to finding the best ways to assess and treat exclusively these problems eg, Plantar Fasciitis (approx. 60% of our patients), Achilles Pathologies (20% of our patients), Sever’s Disease in Children (10% of our patients), and other pathologies (10% of our patients). Because we deal with these problems exclusively, we know how to overcome the more difficult cases with our tried and tested, logical and systematic approach based on scientific principles

07

Our Unique Tailored Treatment & Rehabilitation Programs

As part of your initial consultation at Heal My Heel, you will receive a tailored Rehab Program for your specific heel pain pathology, eg Plantar Fasciitis, Achilles Tendon, Childhood Sever’s,etc. It contains footwear advice and guidelines, specific exercises and stretches, educational information, do’s & don’ts and tips & tricks. Also included is a spikey ball to stimulate circulation to the damaged tissue. For more information, go to the “Our Treatment” page

08

Highly Comprehensive Treatment & Service

From our extended consultation times (to educate and inform the patient and allow time for questions), to our comprehensive clinical assessments, our Rehab Programs and our comprehensive treatment plans, our aim is to leave no stone unturned to give you the best chance of healing and permanent pain relief

09

Footwear Modifications

To optimally reduce the strain on your Plantar Fascia/Achilles Tendon at all times (including around the house) we can modify appropriate footwear (elevated at the heel contoured thongs, sandals or slides). These simple yet highly effective modifications to improve the alignment of your feet, and thus reduce the strain on the Fascia/Tendon can be done quickly and inexpensively in-house and on the spot (at the clinic)
